So many of us want to make changes, set some new goals and achieve great things, and yet we never seem to have TIME to do it! We can come up with all sorts of reasons why we can't do it and then wonder why everyone else seems to be smashing their goals and we are still stuck where we are.
By now you should be getting used to writing every day and really starting to feel the benefits that daily journaling can bring to your life. You should be feeling clear, confident, focused and ready for anything!
Capturing an emotion in words makes it feel more real. We can’t change things if we don’t acknowledge them. It’s easy to acknowledge what we are thinking but it’s not always easy to accept how we FEEL. And writing about our feelings is often very hard-BUT...by writing down how you FEEL you will become more comfortable with how your emotions can impact on and influence your ideas and plans. This is very important as we start to set goals.

January is a tricky month-we feel we HAVE to make changes because everyone else is, but if we are really honest with ourselves all we really want to do is eat biscuits and watch Netflix!
This is the bleakest, darkest time of the year and the last thing any of us should be doing is making it any harder than it needs to be. Why punish ourselves? If you really want to start new diets/exercise regimes/stop eating biscuits/kick the Netflix habit into touch (Really? Are you sure?!-in January??) then who am I to say otherwise but be kind to yourself because so many New Year Resolutions fall at the first hurdle and then we are all crippled with feelings of failure. Change is all about timing-January does not HAVE to be YOUR time.
